James
Halbert – Chief Executive Officer and President
James
Halbert, CPA, is the Chief Executive Officer of Pivot Energy, Inc.
and has been involved in the ethanol industry since 2000.
Mr. Halbert is also the Vice-President and a Manager of
Levelland/Hockley County Ethanol, LLC, which is a 40 million
gallon per year ethanol production facility currently operating in the Panhandle of Texas.
Mr. Halbert has been
involved with the start-up of businesses, business development and
construction industry for approximately 15 years. Mr. Halbert owned
a certified public accounting firm from August 1984 through November
2001. Mr. Halbert has served on various boards monitoring operations
and investment strategy. Mr. Halbert currently serves as secretary of
a non-profit entity that supervises in excess of $85,000,000 in liquid
assets. Mr. Halbert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a
certified public accountant licensed in the State of Texas.
Wade Walker
– Chief Operations Officer
Wade
Walker is Chief Operations Officer for Pivot
Energy, Inc. and has been involved in the ethanol industry since
2000. Mr. Walker is also the Vice President of RIO Technical
Services, Inc. and oversaw the design and construction,
on behalf of the owners group, of the Levelland/Hockley County
Ethanol facility that was constructed by ICM in Levelland,
Texas. Mr. Walker was part of the development and financing
team for the Levelland/Hockley County Ethanol project, and
was responsible for the preparation of the projects Feasibility
Study. Mr. Walker is also responsible for RIO’s energy
and infrastructure projects including day-to-day project management,
business development, and contract negotiations. Mr. Walker
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from
Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Walker has more
than 13 years experience working on construction, land development,
energy, and engineering projects.
Patricia Joyce
– Project Development
Pat Joyce provides support for the government and public relations
needs of Pivot Energy, Inc. Ms. Joyce works directly with the
State and Federal legislative representatives on issues involving
ethanol, taxation, environmental impacts et al. She also works
directly with the local and county governments and economic development
offices on such issues as tax abatements, infrastructure development
and community relations. In addition, Ms. Joyce in involved on the
day to day development of new sites including tracking transportation
and energy distribution data as well as feedstock and animal units
needed to sustain plant production. Previous to joining Pivot Energy,
Ms. Joyce was involved in the development of a 55MGY ethanol plant in
Montana. Ms. Joyce has over 20 years experience in marketing, public
relations and government relations including a five year term as
legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Conrad Burns of Montana. She was
stationed in Washington D.C., traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe
on such issues as Surface
Transportation/Trade Corridors/Tourism/Indian Affairs/Small Business.
Her duties included research and briefing on key issues related to
these areas as well as identifying key issues and relationships necessary
to support the legislative interests of the Senator and constituents.
In addition, she was responsible for building and maintaining relations
with the Montana’s seven Indian Tribes which ultimately resulted in
a significant increase in the Senators tribal support in his re-election.
Ultimately, Ms Joyce joined the Council of State Governments western
regional office which is a lobbying organization for State
Legislatures in San Francisco. As Director of Legislative Affairs
for CSG-WEST she managed all Energy, Water, Transportation and Trade
issues for the 13 Western States as well as being the liaison to the
state legislatures in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
Ms. Joyce is a graduate of Montana State University with a Bachelors
of Arts in Speech Communications-Public Relations.
Lindy Walker
– Member Board of Directors
Lindy
Walker is the President and CEO of RIO Technical Services,
Inc., an engineering and scientific consulting firm located
in Fort Worth, Texas that has played an active role in developing
the Texas biofuels industry over the past 5 years. Mr. Walker
founded RIO in 1995 and is involved in the day-to-day operations
including project management, business development, contract
negotiation, and human resources. RIO currently supports customers
with the US Department of Energy, the US Treasury Department,
multiple ethanol projects, and numerous electric utility companies.
Mr. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from
Tarleton State University. |
